Legal Restrictions

TrustedPickle does use 128 bit public and private keys to calculate its signatures, but it does not actually encrypt any data. This should exempt it from any cryptography legal restrictions.

However, lawmakers are often over-zealous in their pursuit of "the bad guys", so you should take a few minutes to look up your country on epic.org's International Survey of Encryption Policy to make sure you are not subject to any laws that would interfere with your use of this module. Although a few years old now, this survey is extensive and informative.
